It is 'huge' I personally have seen the 8ft tank and the 12 inch plus Clowns. It's pretty eye opening stuff. I bet that is a wonderful sight, I currently have 8 clowns (biggest 5" smallest 2") in an 75 gallon 4' tank. Within the next 18 months they will all be moving into a new tank that I ...

Re: A Moral Obligation?
Now the question is... does a fish have the same moral/ethical "rank" or standing as a cat or dog or other animal? I dont think a neon or something similar could be compared to a cat or dog. I can see however that a large fish that is kept as a pet such as a giant gourami, oscar or koi could be com...

Pangio species
Hi guys, I got 5 of these little guys at the weekend and I was wondering if they are Black Kuhli (Pangio javanicus) or if they are Cinnamon Kuhli (Pangio oblonga / pangia). Between the 5 of them there are a couple that are slightly lighter in colour than the others but other than that they are ident...

Hi Wendie, I buy the 120ml bottles, Protozin is actually the ich remedy but Myxazin can be used to treat ich as well and I have found it works a little better when loaches are in the tank. To treat protozoan diseases such as ich, velvet, costiasis etc the aquarium can be treated twice a day, 12 hour...

Just a little update, I have now got the two botias that I thought were Rostrata in my 44 gallon tank and their markings have changed quite alot. I think B. kubotai is looking more likely. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y60/MadDuff/Botia1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y60/MadDuff/Botia2.jpg

Dario & Rostrata
I thought I would share a couple of photos of my B Dario and B Rostrata. They are all living happily together in a 30 gallon at the moment with some cories but will soon be going into a 44 gallon. There are 3 Darios but the other one was camera shy :) : http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y60/MadDuff/I...

Hi Graeme, I have been keeping an eye on them and they really do seem placid at the moment. They are having a bit of a chase with each other but they dont seem at all bothered by the Rostrata or Darios at the moment. Only time will tell I suppose. I found them in a local pet shop, they only had the ...
