Nice video and beautiful tank! Which plants did you use?
Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Work got REALLY intense and I needed a vacation. In my tank I have:
Banana plant
Anubias Nana
Amazon Swords
Jungle of Anacharis
Java Fern
Wisteria
Hornswort
Pearl weed (which I'm hoping will carpet ...

75g planted
I have FINALLY gotten my 75g tank set up. I fishless cycled and am now reaping the benefits of a fully stocked tank. I have 6 clown loaches, 3 yoyos, 2 SAE, 1 flying fox, and 1 black Khuli. 3 of the clowns, all the yoyos and SAE are new, and seem to be getting among with tankmates ...swimmigly!!! I ...

Clown Loaches Brackish Water
Is it possible for clown loaches to survive in brackish water? I know normal reasoning would say no, that they are sensitive to this and shouldn't be kept in it but that's not why i'm asking.

Clown Pleco only eats wood
I have a small clown pleco in my tank with 4 black khuli's, 3 clown loaches, and 1 flying fox. All of them eat the food I drop in except the pleco. I feed Martin's homemade fish feed 90% of the time, and once in a while do some bloodworms, flake, and sinking algae wafers. I stopped with the wafers ...

I've only been keeping fish for about 3 years now, but if there is one thing I've learned from my personal experience it's that super high water quality for me has trumped meds every time. If they were my fish, I'd opt for the very clean water approach. But like I said I'm still a beginner hobbyist.

The rotating coconut
OK so I put this cleaned out coconut in my loach tank about 2 years ago and its starting to deteriorate around the openings. The front opening is now double the size I originally created it to be. Around the same time I noticed the hole was larger, I also noticed the coconut slowly rotating its ...

Chosing a sump pump
I have a 75 gallon I'm making into a river tank with an overflow and 20 gallon custom sump\filter. The rise is going to be roughly 4 feet high, but not straight up. There will be two 90 degree turns. Can anyone recommend a brand that is reliable? I'm looking for at least 300gph. I was looking at the ...

I actually switched from gravel to sand and I used play sand (cleaned several times and sifted for sharper granules).
I used to aerate the sand using my siphon (homemade with pvc and a faucet nozzle thing with holes in it). I would just poke it into the sand occasionally in different spots. I got ...

That's a sad story but you don't have to leave LOL because of it. This is an open community of like minded individuals and you're more than welcome to stay! Even if you never owned another loach you could still chill here.

I have a pvc elbow in the tank with the opening facing the front glass. They just huddle in there normally but when the fire is lit they angle their bodies so their one eye is facing straight towards it. They get really docile and just chill there. The only times I can walk by the tank without them ...

Clown Loaches like fire?!
I moved into my new house last week and noticed that when I have the fireplace burning, my 3 clowns huddle together and just watch the fire flicker. It's way across the room so the heat doesn't touch the tank at all. It's so funny. They seem completely mesmerized by it.

I just moved recently from an apartment to a house. The drive was 35 minutes and I just got a bunch of buckets and drained tank water into them. I have 3 clowns, 1 flying fox, 1 dwarf clown pleco, and 4 black khulis. I put the clowns together in 1 bucket and separated all the others. Unfortunately I ...
