Yeah Mick they do have the red eyes, though I haven't managed to take any decient pics, I'd definatly recommend you get some, they are expensive though they were 12 pounds if i remenber correctly, worth it though in my opinion one of the most attractive loaches out there.

Went to a lfs last weekend and was happy to they had some Homaloptera for sale they were listed as H. ogilviei but I'm sure they are either H. smithi or H. tweediei, I cant say which though.
