Flavatras are a great fish, I have a couple of flavatras with G.zebrinus and ocellatus and they get on fine I do have a lots of natural algae in their tank though. Went to a lfs last weekend and was happy to they had some Homaloptera for sale they were listed as H. ogilviei but I'm sure they are either H. smithi or H. tweediei, I cant say which though.
I only managed to get 3 as that was all they had left, real super little fish great to watch them feed ...

The parameter of the tap water is a good match to the tank water kh and gh maybe a degree or two lower, ph is the same.
