Hey Everyone,

I know this thread is a bit old, but I thought I'd share a source I just found for levamisole. They have a site called Subquaria.com

They also sell on e-bay. Has anyone used this brand before? There prices seem pretty reasonable, as you can buy in lower quantities.

I haven't tried ...

Hey everyone,

We're having an issue with what I believe is a skinny dwarf loach. We have some levamisole hydrochloride that expired in 12/2009. Will it still be effective?

I've been trying to find some to buy online, and am having an issue. Do you guys have any leads?

Update

Hey everyone, just a quick update

So, we had gotten the nitrates back to normal, and our alpha clown still wouldn't eat! Everyone else was acting fine through this whole ordeal...

So, we started trying to think of what changed... and we think it was the food. We usually get them the Hikari sinking ...

Hi Glenna,

Well, we did both actually. We added 3 small tiger barbs about 12 days ago, and over the weekend we rearranged their tank.

Thinking that maybe the rearranging of their tank was stressing him out, I put his house back to it's original location last night.

Today he's still not eating ...

Update on issue

We did a water change earlier tonight, and tested the water afterward, only to discover the nitrates were high. We treated the tank with some Amquel plus, and cleaned out the filter.

We have an XP3, and usually we find sand at the bottom of the filter, after all the media is taken out. Tonight we ...

I used to have an aquaclear HOB, before I had sand. I agree, they do work good. Does the sponge/foam insert on the inside of the filter keep the sand from breaking the impeller? Or do you somehow attach a second foam insert to the intake tube in the tank?

Well, I guess we'll have to start planning to do a reseal this summer then. We have a 46 gallon, so I think if we split the fish up into (2) 10 gallon tanks, they should be alright for a couple days.

I would rather go through the hassle of doing that, then having a leak while living in an apartment ...

Nice Pics! That's the first time I've seen a cone feeder. What kind of food do you use with that? Anything that floats?

Speaking of leaks...

Is there about an average life span of a fish tank, as far as the silicone goes? I've noticed some bubbling or pitting in our silicone. The clowns also like to seem to pick at it from time to time.

I have an All-Glass aquarium that's about 5 years old.

I did buy them together, from the same tank. I was thinking he might have been mixed in by accident. But after looking at the photo Mick posted, I think he is a kub. The two we have just look a lot different to me. Could they be different sexes?
