Yes that was my impression. So I reviewed the species profiles on this forum and found the sids with an ideal pH range close to mine and found usually in still pools. Calvus are actually quite placid and timid (well, for cichlids) and they are carnivores adapted to eat fish eggs and the tiniest fry....
