Thanks. That looks like them except for the red fins and tail. I have four and they're about three inches long. I was sad to read that they are territorial. So far mine hasn't shown any aggression. They get along really well with my clowns, almorhae, and kubotai. They're so much fun to watch. They l...

Thanks for the link. I'm all about going organic whenever possible. It looks really easy to use too. And best of all it says it's safe for loaches.[/quote]

Thank you so much for the info. I thought I was just looking for signs that something was wrong with the fish. I didn't realize there are internal parasites I need to watch out for too. I'll start treatment right away, but why do some have a problem with prophylactic treatments?

How long to Quarantine

Hi I was just wondering how long should you quarantine fish before adding them to the main tank? I have had 5 one inch clown loaches in a 10 gal tank for about 3 weeks now. Is it time to move them over? Will they be ok with my other clowns that are only about 3 inches? For future reference what I'm ...

If you still have your loaches I would love to care for them. I have a 240 gal tank housing 7 clowns, 4 yoyos, 1 pokadot loach, and a busynose pleco. I live in Torrance CA so I could pick them up from you.

Thank you, that does help. I'll go find another large rock to put in there today. Or maybe some large bamboo.
Thanks again!

Thanks for your reply. I will get more places for them to hide, but I think I'm also going to take the big guy out. He is really aggressive. If I walk up to the tank he charges the glass like a cichlid. That's why I love clowns, they're so playful and calm. Fun to watch. This guy is not fun to watch...

Aggressive Yoyo Loach

Hi! I just bought a 6 in. Yoyo Loach yesterday. I brought him home to my 240 gal tank that houses 4 (now 3) 2 1/2 inch clown loaches, 2 2in. yoyos, 1 pokadot loach (and since reading the forums I have learned that this is bad, so I will add more when I find them), and 1 bushynose pleco. Since I have...
