well I have this one clown, and maybe I don’t know what "flashing" is, but for 2 months now he will "bounce" his body off stuff he will only do it once, but its been stuff like the heater, or tubing, or a smooth rock. he is also the only one that does it. Tank stock : 2 - 3" Dalmatian mollies, 6 - 1" zebra danios, 1 - 2.5" clown loach, and 3 - 1.5" clown loach. Problem : feeding the 3 - 1.5" clown loaches 5 - 6 times a day is allowing the bigger fish to over eat and causing a .25ppm ammonia spike at the end of the day not to mention the damage it is...

flashing question
will clown loaches flash even if nothing is wrong? there are no spots, there is no red gills, they are hanging out at the bottom, they are not breathing heavy. I have 4 of them and only 2 seem to do it. oh and they are doing it to the flat tumbled river stones(aquarium safe) I just added. not really...
