yea I had 3 Dalmatian mollies in there with them but, the clowns are small and need to eat more a day than the mollies, and the mollies were eating to much. so I am kind of at a loss... will it hurt them to wait til they get bigger for the dither fish?

new clowns how to?

I have 3 - 1.5 inch loaches and 1 - 2 inch, and they are kind of timid. they run and hide every time someone walks by the aquarium.

what things can I do to make them less timid? (i.e. I have seen pictures of clowns hanging out and eat out of the owners hand.)

feeding clowns

I know that I am supposed to feed my clowns (1.5 inches) around 5 to 6 times a day, but my top feeders (mollies) are eating at the same time (which is to much for them) so I was wondering if this feeding schedule looks good? 1st feeding brine shrimp. 2nd feeding vegetable (mollies barely bother) 3rd...

mollie shimmy or just weird

ok I have a mollie that looks like he is doing the mollie shimmy(shaking his head No), but the thing is he only does it at night when the lights go out and he is sleeping. my nitrites are a little high, but I have been double dosing with PRIME to make them non-toxic, and 50% water changes until toda...

weird clown loach behavior, maybe not?

one of my babies (1 inch) goes over to the heater whether it is on or not and looks like he is smelling the heater then after a few seconds he jumps back off the heater like he got hit or spooked, but he also does it with tubing, and the undergravel post. is this weird behavior, or is it normal...I ...

seting up for distilled water question(w/ clown loaches)

Planning on changing my water to a 50% distilled water 50% tap water. For my pH is currently at 7.6, and I need a 6.5 -7 for my clown loaches... so would this be a good way to go about doing the change? For instance say a 25% distilled WC, wait a week then another 25% distilled WC, then on the regul...
