When my kids were much younger (the oldest was 16 or 17) I bought a Louis Prima CD. I love it! My kids first thought I was some sort of weirdo. But it grew on them. Angelina in the Pizzeria etc. They took it to camp and it was a smash hit with the little kids. ....so there..... I blow raspberries......

The Prestige was crap. Volver (Almodovar) was very good. On Saturday we had video night and randomly selected Repo Man (how can you not love this stupid movie?) and The Aristocrats (how can you not love this terribly filthy, stupid movie?), and it made for a rather good double bill. It is totally p...

I found that Camallanus worm eradication was more rapid when treating herbivorous fish (Gouramis) than Carnivorous fish (Geophagus species). This is probably due to gut transit time. Herbivores require far more food and their food is less calorie dense. The bowel transit time is faster. For some rea...

janma, if your previous mixture of species worked so wonderfully for you (I mean hey, did I EVER get the shrimp to breed????? NO!!!) then why add other species that potentially could really screw things up for you? Why not set up another tank for the experimental type crew you want to obtain and obs...

ah Emma, where there's one, there's more. for me that's always been the 'rule' about baby fish. if you find one, you'll eventually find another one. and then another one. etc.

:o

it's all great. clearly you and others are now able to make these fish 'happy'. and happy fish breed.

yay!

because of the current situation, if it were my tank, i'd do 50 to 60 percent daily for a few days and then every other day. then twice a week. because if there will be a shift in what grows in the tank, then you've got to remove the breakdown products. you won't interfere with the beneficial bacter...
