He's about 8 years old. I'm wondering if anyone has any sugestions what it might be or more importantly how ...

I know this is belated however in regards to the weather thing. I love dojo/weather loaches. They got the name weather loaches because they get all crazy like when its stormy. Captains would have these fish on there ships at times to help tell them of coming storms. Anyway my point being khulies and...

Hmm so is one better off just using very fine gravel? And how bad is it for the filter? I mean it sounds like it would be VERY bad but I'm kinda new to this so maybe not?

Hey I was thinking of switching to sand too so I'm glad this was brought up. Do you have to worry about sucking the sand out when your vacuming? And my filter intake is WAY at the top of my tank which is about 2ft high so do you peeps think I would need to worry as much about the sand getting into m...

I doubt the slow intro would help. From my understanding its the fins on the male guppies that get the beta's all wound up. So what I think would happen is the beta would fin nip until the guppies died. However I'm so NOT an expert thats just what I think would happen form research I've done.

Any way you took the words out of my mouth in regards to the if we don't know we don't respond thing. I tend to only respond when I think what I say ma...

Almost looks like an albino version of the previous mentioned type...but either way it's def very close. Same markings though the original pics are for sure lighter. Same head and same fin placement and tail look.

Oh I know mine love snails too lol. However mystery snails have a shield most snails to not also they get pretty big I was thinking maybe to big for the clowns to want to eat. I mean I love steak but I'm not gonna go chomp on a cow :)

Loach vs mystery snail?

Does anyone know if my clowns would eat mystery snails? I know they have a kinda of protective shield over there hole when they are inside but what if the clowns "sneak" up on them? Is that even possible? I want to add some to my tank but not if they will be clown food.

LOL I know it sounds crazy but every rainy season, as much as they are in southern California, I spend a bit of time saving earthworms from drowning and or drying out on the sidewalk. So therefor I can't bring myself to turn around and chop them up. I love all Gods creatures....well I try but fleas ...
