Re: Clown with tears in tail
I do a 20% change at least once a week, and the numbers have been good. I'm hesitant to do more frequent changes with the terrible drought we have going on; I already use water from changes to water all of my potted plants, and not sure what I'd do with 45g more of water every week. Any recommendati...

Clown with tears in tail
I have an older clown in my school that developed some tears in his tail a few months ago after constantly getting in bad fights, and they haven't gotten worse or healed. I have since changed my stocking so the fights have stopped; the clowns are now housed with a large sailfin pleco and a couple bl...

Clowns with cloudy eyes; help!
Hey everyone, I have a large school of clowns in my 125g tank, and they recently started developing some sort of fungal infection. The eyes on the smallest and oldest clowns are starting to get cloudy, or develop small white cyst like objects. Water parameters seem fine, and there have been no death...

I do not give my business to places like that. I am voting with my dollars in favor of stores that take better care of their livestock. I'm of the same school of thought as diana. I would rather support a business that treats its animals well versus trying to "save" abused animals from a place like...

a lot of aquatic plants, like ones with broad, soft leaves, hate salt. if you add any salt to your aquarium, this could be a cause for the plant's stress. also, like nancy said, if they were grown emersed, or in a drastically different PH, the change would make the old leaves fall off before new one...

i recently got a used 180g tru-vu aquarium, and cleaned it with a tru-vu scratch removal kit . One would probably have been enough, but I used about one and a half kits to get every inch of my 180 inside and out; looks brand new! the kits each only include one small tru-vu cleaning cloth, but a clea...
