I took this photo on my phone a couple of months ago when i released him into the main tank, about 1" in this photos, saw him last night when doing a water change, grown nicely! :)

Might well be.

One of my Y. nigroleneata is heavily gravid and the female acanthocobitis are gravid and male a deep orange colour, the male was chasing the females last night, pre-spawning behaviour maybe!

just did a water change and found a little baby A. zonalternans!

So happy!
I'm suprised it hadn't got eaten by my weather loach but it's about 1" with a faint black lateral line so i would guess it's about 1 month old?

Yup, they are quickly becoming one of my favourites! Glad i got them, hopefully mine will grow up to be as stunning as your adults! (Mine are already as big as and bigger than my 3" garra combodgiensis :) )

My large female is by her self, similar conditions but the temp is at about 70*C. I wonder if you nudge the temp up a little it might bring them out a little more? Mine is quite active, and when she isn't she just rests on the floor at the front of the tank. So i'm not sure whether adding more ...

Hi again. me and my dad are leaving tomorrow morning to get to the Midlands. Is 11 Ok?

Mark and i normally arrive for around 9.30am but the general meeting time we start off with is around 10am. In the past meetings it's been 10am ish.

Ouch, i'm usually in bed that time. :lol:

not a good job to be doing at around 5am
