Re: Mudskipper paludarium- an alternative solution

For the first I got this on video.
Looks like mating behaviour to my eye.

There's an inbuilt water cave in the scape, into which the female follows the male in the end of this video.

Re: Mudskipper paludarium- an alternative solution

I had to tare down and thoroughly clean this ol' tank after a serious mealybug infestation.
Trashed all vegetation. Bummer.

Happy to say it's getting back to action

A club friend keeps killifish in his, just a thought.
Thanks, NancyD.
Killies would fit the bill for sure. Along with hillstreamers. Gotta look into their availability around these quarters.

Thanks for your feedback.

Re: Hillstream creek lateral flow tank

Thanks, Austen.

I started making the hardscape for the tank with the basic masses of rock to be. It's going to be more riparium-like than a paludarium, with rock in the water and a couple of stumps emersed from the tank.

Hillstream creek lateral flow tank

Hi, all.

I finally got around to starting a new hillster tank.
Here's a couple of teaser pics of the plumbing/channeling to be built into the fake stone/wood background:

I was trying to show my other half this thread but none of the pictures on the other pages are loading for me. Have they been removed or is it just my connection?

The photobank still not working. Frustrating.
Makes this thread pretty much useless.
