Too bad you're not in the US, where we can legally buy all the levasole we want (or can afford). It's given to rehab opossums as a wormer, or half-strength purely for the immune system boost. The only sad thing is it's currently out of stock when I tried to order it they said it's been back ordered...

I've had good results treating camallanus worms with fenbendazole, bought safe-guard canine wormer. I just dissolved a pinch of the white powder in warm water, then added frozen bloodworms, Put in the fridge for an hour or two then fed them. Fish gobbled them up and the worms were gone after a week...

I have red a bit more on the subject. The problem here is that you do not know what exactly is wrong with this fish. So for this guy to have any chance of recovery you need to make some guesses as to what would be the likely cause for his condition. If your fish is active and still eating then the ...

Dose and duration are on the packaging, but if I remember it is a 5-day schedule, followed by (2) 50% water changes back to back + a day of activated carbon. Then assess, and possibly repeat the treatment. One of these 2 meds is light sensitive. Turn off the aquarium light (room light is OK) One of...

Looks like some sort of irritation. Check the water with all the tests that you have. The big water change is good. If there was any toxin it will be greatly diluted. Add fresh activated carbon to the filter, and change it out a couple of times. If there is something in the water the carbon can get...

First step is to do a few water changes. Often this conditions arises when the nitrate has been creeping up. Other than that most antibiotics can help. Treat in a hospital tank, it will be smaller, so you need less medicine, and the sick fish will have some peace and quiet to heal. If you can get h...
