Re: Eheim 2213 and the Noise

Have you checked to see that the Impellar shaft is seated in the rubber inside the motor all the way? I put mine back together once and it wasent pushed all the way in and it was making some noise. The shaft could also be broken. They are made from ceramic i think and are quite delicate.

I would never have seen them cause i dont shop in those types of places. Even if someone told me they were there they would have remained. Ive totaly boycotted walmart for many years simply because of the lives they have destroyed in their never ending quest for power.

Cold

I keep Dojo/Weather loaches in my unheated rubbermaid tub. They have been in there for years with a whole slew of constantly reproducing white clouds. The tubs main function is for keeping java moss and theres a ton of it for the loaches to enjoy and the white clouds spawn in it.

Kinda late but the petland discounts near me in the bronx ny just got some good size Kubotai for 12 bucks each. About 4 inches , could use some good feedings and a better home than they provide.

I keep My Dojos in an unheated tub. It stays about 68-69 this time of year and about 70-72 during the warmer months. There is 4 or 5 Dojos alot of white clouds and a huge amount of java moss. The white clouds constantly reproduce and the Dojos eat flake from my fingers. Totaly cool stuff.

Ive kept Exodon Paradoxis with all types of Loaches and never saw any interaction between the two. They are agressive Characins but if kept in a good school they mainly beat on eath other. Cichlids also i havent noticed any interaction but the smaller more peacefull ones probably wont do good. I wou...

How is that Shark Aquarium website? Has anybody ever ordered from them before?
I cant vouch for their shipping. I have never had anything shipped from them being i live close. What i do know is in this area shark aquarium is by far the best aquarium around the Tri NYS area.
