Can i treat rain water with water conditioner? Isn't water conditioner a mixture of minerals and trace elements needed for your new aquarium water to create a buffer? Generaly my town water is pH 8-8.4, no Nitrates, no Ammonia or Nitrites. Hardness is 20-40ppm. i am unsure how to test for fluride an...

thanks diana, yes its just like a bird sitting on a power line, the bird is actualy live at the line voltage, its only when contact is made to ground that the current starts flowing and does damage. i got a shock of the tank because i was touching the water and the light housing whitch is grounded. ...

thanks for the advice, the bala is only 3" but now heading for a mates tank. clowns with yoyo's, does this work?
I have just setup a clown dedicated tank, 6X2X2', plenty of current and air, drift wood, fine gravel and plenty of plants, shadows and hiding spots. Problem is a haven't really seen the big guys since i moved em all in. What HAS to go? i have 14 clowns, 4 at 6", 3 at 4", rest 1.5 to 2.5". Tank Mates...
