Re: A planted tank without snails is this possible???
If you have sails, in spite of your best efforts, one option would be to introduce fish that eat snails. They could merely be temporary inhabitants. Trade them in or give them away once they take care of the problem. I've used Opaline Gouramis (Trichogaster trichopterus) for that before, as well as ...

Custom A.G.E. acrylic aquarium (Dallas) ordered through North Waco Tropical Fish: 96"L X 18"W X 14"T, 1/2" thickness; custom wooden ...

Advice
If this is constipation, then peas would help, yes. I've never had this issue with my fish, but I've been told that you can introduce such after a 24-48 hour fast. I hope this is the case and that the treatment works for you in short order. Best of luck!

Thanks.
That was fun to watch! Thanks.
What would it look like if you panned out a bit, didn't move the camera, and just let the critters swim around?
Perhaps you could sell this as a screen saver.

Wow, this place has grown! Yes, I'm still catching up with all the new additions. Thank you. Looks like there's a move in the near future. Good to see that the sun still shines, I'm still breathing, and some of the same old regulars can still be found at LOL. Great to "see" you folks again...and I L...

Re: Black Sand
I know someone else on here has used black sandblasting sand in aquaria (think it was Joe Loach) with success. Dojos will dig a lot given the right substrate. I didn't think you would remember me, Martin. :D In the past, I've mixed regular white silica sand with black Estes "Marine Sand," which is ...
