Can't conclude anything from that pic. Could be a Schistura semiarmatus. Check out if it has a tear drop marking below its eyes and black spots throughout the body, if not the anterior half.

Just a tip, F8 with a fast shutter @ ISO 350 is a sweet spot of the cam with that lens for fish! :wink:

Definitely a typical Schistura , Mick. Greedy while eating, wasnt very fuzzy or choosy about food and not that aggressive as say a denisonii or for that matter even a semiarmatus . Coorg District, Karnataka. Its called Kodagu plateau, a highland plateau in the middle of the western gharts and hence the name kodaguensis
