i'm with mikev

if they don't eat they are dead of very ill...

i too have 8 and are always hungry of live of frozen foods. don't like vegeteble to much but will eat if they haven't ate for 2 days.

and the wil feed low high and mid regions in the tank.

well the front of the house does not have sunlight so thats not an option but i want only the green algae i have already (thats a good one) don't need the other types lol and only on the wood and stones.

hmm african cichlids with loaches? ph is way to high for the dojo's...

i wouldn't threat the aquarium with salt since getting it out again is very difficult.

the "shark" had the luck that there were still plants growing there... and very good for plants with no light since 1 of them grew so big it stoot 2 foot tall above the water pushing the top open.

well it still does not eat dryfood though just algea. since a week or to it started eating live foods.

the frenatus is a rescued fish by the way. my father-in-law re-married early this year but they lived in there new home. his old house took six month to sell. And nobody lived there. The aquarium (assumend empty) was stripped from fish (they were given away). Power cut, no heater and no filter. that...

i don't find kubotai agressieve either... they just kick but when provoked.

mine do playfight but the big one in my tank protects them from my frenatus. and scares him off when he chases the smaller kubotai.

garra only eat dead skin people with some disease (don't know the englishname) have a benefit from those fish. since the eat the ....skin of them. they only eat deadskin (if you have been on a sunny holliday and your tan sheds of (old skin to fresh skin) they love that skin en will eat it safes you ...
