They're on my list of things to try and remove. 6 were added to the tak about a month before the Clowns dissapeared.

Into the Q tank tonight.

Hi,

No - no solution as of yet. We've moved the tank around, a bit at a time, and changed the lighting. Added more plants. Changed their food...

Left a week or so between each change.

As soon as the lights go out, they're out, and happy - eating everything thay can get hold of. It's just during ...

Well, over the weekend I moved around one end of the tank, and created some more hiding holes. I left the end that the Loaches live in alone. On top of that I've added some more plants - a couple of broad leaf plants, and one to provide cover from the lights (if they punch holes in them, there'll be ...

Thanks all,

I did come to the conclusion that they needed more friends - if a tank move around doesn't solve the problem, then I think I'll let them move onto a more suitable home, and expand the small fish community.

I will completely re-arrange the tank this weekend, and see how they get on next ...

Hi Marcos,

There are 4 'normal' tubes in there at the moment - each between 30 and 40w. Again, these have always been present since the loaches have been in the tank.

I have been running a single tube for a week to see if there is any difference.

I'll put in some more hiding places this weekend ...

Good morning all,

I have 2 clown loaches in a 260 litre community tank. I bought 3 - 18 months ago, but I lost one to skinny disease :cry:

The remaining 2 have always seemed very happy, playing in the bubbles and current, and always jousting to get to the food first.
