Mines do the same... I only get to see them just when the sun is about to set and thats the time i feed them. The bigger loach (about 7 inches) only comes out at almost the end of feeding and it is still skiddish when it sees someone approaching. Gah its kinda irratating that they are soo shy... :ro...

So they are bloodworms? but how did they get in the tank and filter?

ok they are mostly in my power filter pads and in my uv sterilizer pad also. there were im guessing about roughly 10-20 in each pad. what they are doing mostly just burrowing themselves in the pads(a few can be found in the gravel when i vac). oh and they are about twice to three times the thickness...

Are these worms or parasites? Any help would be great thanks!
