Re: hillstream loach setup
If it is just hillstreams or similar fish, they really like super high current. I think it would be fine.

Re: Stiphodon atropurpureus (blue neon gobys?)
thanks for the info. Almost all of my rocks are by themselves on a bout 2" of sand the only stacked ones are pilled over a bubble bar. Any advice as to feeding? I know they like algae but what are their eating habits like? what would look normal? again I appreciate you taking the time to answer my q...

Re: Stiphodon atropurpureus (blue neon gobys?)
I am not too familiar with Stiphodons, these are my first. Will they be ok at 70 degrees? Also is it normal for them to bury themselves? I have play sand for substrate and since I introduced them to the tank they were all out and visible for the first few hours but gradually disapeared one by one. I...

the more oxygen the better. Make sure the water is clean with regular water changes and supplement diet with algae discs.

Re: Looking for Levamisole
I got some pellets a long time ago from a brand called Jungle that are anti parasitic and contain levamisole. They work great when some of my dojos had worms. https://www.google.com/search?q=jungle+anti+parasite+fish+food&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=QxU&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=sb&tbm...

Stiphodon atropurpureus (blue neon gobys?)
I just bought some of these to go in my unheated 40g breeder. I also have 4 dojo loaches. I used to have a bunch of hillstreams until a new pair of Panda Garra brought some ich even after I quarantined them and they all were lost except the dojos. Anybody have experience with these little guys? thei...

I would think it would depend on the loaches. I know most of them like more oxygen in the water then normal. I have a tank with Gold Dojos and Hillstreams with very strong current and they both love it. I would say that it would be good to make hiding spots so they can rest out of the current. rocks...

good news, I can home and found that the algae pellet had wedged under a rock and all 3 were crowded around chowing down. I was also wondering if they are filter feeders because my tank has play sand for substrate and they seem to be filtering tiny particles of sand as well. my only problem now is t...
