The nubs on the Pectoral fins look like the fences mentioned on the species page but the head shape seems to be female?

What type of loach, size of tank, how many other fish, what are your water stats?

Also read the ich sticky above which holds almost everything you need to know about whitespot.

Are they rubbing off objects in the tank at all? I have wcmm and glowlight danios which have been "itchy" since i got them. Diana suggested velvet could be the cause but my fish seem healthy?

If it's low level velvet which isn't causing too much of an issue, would a UV steriliser be a good thing rather than medicating?

Surely velvet would of had more of an impact by now? I haven't medicated in months.

If you have moved items and kicked up some sediment then it could be an ammonia spike, do an ammonia test and as above some water changes. If it is, antibiotics are the last thing you want...

Thought i'd put an update, my WCMM's are still doing it, I have fairly soft water could this cause the issue? The fish seem happy in every other way and are breeding too.

Hmm, well its a new AC50 which is using the default black adapter cut to fit the 22mm tubing. I'm using the sucker glass attachment but it’s just a constant low frequency hum.

I've tried moving things a bit and re sticking it but no difference.

Would the vibration bother the fish?

I've used NOVO tabs with my Sewellia and they will fend off my minnows and feed from them.
