I actually saw this for the first time this weekend after I re-scaped my tank. I took out the 2 small peices of Mopi Wood and replaced it with a HUGE center peice. I had him maybe 3 months, I didnt see any fading.

my 9" albino sailfin is a real meanie, so I'm sure he won't have any problems with an oscar.

I probably wont be using store bought feeders for fear of disease, but my oscar will get some home bred guppies for variety. What kind of oscar did you have? Any pictures?

Well I can say without a doubt that my Oscar had nothing to do with my pleco. So he was safe and never messed with him.

Now my Oscar loved absolutley LOVED his other set of tank mates. A school of about 15 goldfish. I never knew what happened to them, but I was always having to replace them week ...

If I may.... Make sure they can not swim up your pump filter. They can and will do it. I have some friends that this happened to.

WOW .... I have had Clowns since I was knee high, and never had them get very big and had them for years. Maybe is it the size of the tank dictates how large they get? I use to have lizards and I was always told the bigger the environment the bigger the lizard so I gave them the spare bedroom. Mom ...

I am getting back into the hobby. I have always loved loaches and kept the Clown variety. I am going to be making this take primarily all loach. I want some clown, yoyo, dojo and whatever else I can get.

I will have a planted 55 gal and I know plants require lots of light and Loaches like low light ...
