This isn't a new setup as I've had it up and running for a good 6 months. What I meant by prepping is I'm removing the larger more aggressive fish to make room for smaller fish I will be putting in.

Clown Loaches & Salt

I'm prepping my 90gal tank for some Clown Loaches that I'll be picking up in the next 2 weeks or so.

The question I have is how well do they tolerate salt?

I ask this question because I add about 1tbs per 10g and keep it at that salinity level. So if I do an oil change I siphon out about 20g, fill ...

Thank you Diana. I'm going to start lowering the temps in 2 days and my last dose of treatment should be tomorrow night.

So depressing watching this almost empty tank. Water change in a few hours and then another water test.

Hate Ich

I'm new to this forum, but thought I'd ask a question about Ich. I didn't realize that I had a problem with Ich until my Arowana died.

Then I took a closer look at my Clown Loaches and a few of them had white spots. I ran out bought Rid-Ich and started the treatment 50%day/50%night dosages.

Severums with Clowns?

I have a 90 gallon tank with 8 clowns and 2 candy stripe plecostomus currently.

I wanted to ask the question if Severums (red, gold, or green) would be compatible with clowns? The water requirement are similar and I already have some drift/mopani wood in the tank to soften the water a bit.
