Re: Tanichthys thacbaensis-new white cloud species

Hi Jim,

the article was in the german issue of Amazonas, I don't think it is in the US issue yet.

Re: lufenuron / Program for dogs and cats as fish treatment

Hi,

I have no experience with this med, but meds for treatment against fleas will probably also kill shrimp.

Re: Breeding Vietnamese White Clouds

Hi Jim,

I don't have them, so I don't have my own experience with them. But the one thing I heard from other breeders is that there mustn't be any snails in the tank! The eggs seem to taste very good and aren't snail-resistant at all. The same goes for shrimp also.

Re: Forum Upgrades

Hi Jeff, yes, the old forum had this option, I used it regularly! Was it a little icon that used to appear next to the list of threads on the forum main page, particularly when a topic spanned multiple pages? I think so. It really doesn't matter in what form it's acomplished, but I would really miss...

Re: Forum Upgrades

Hi Jeff,

thanks for your good work in the loaches 'backoffice' :D

There is one thing I'm missing, maybe I'm just to blind to find it: the button to get to the first unread post of a thread.

Can you help me there?

Hi, thanks for the comments! @ Menu, I haven't any S. lineolata to compare, so I don't know how they do it. @ Wim the dither fishes are Microrasbora kubotai, they really seem to enjoy the stronger current. I have seen 1 larva which was already about 12mm, so it is probably 1-2 weeks old. There shoul...

Hi Matt, That is so cool! I looked at it with google-translate, but that only helps a little. Does he explain what exactly he did to achieve the tides. And what's a Blauenfilterschwamm, if you know? Thank you. blauer Filterschwamm is, as Francois guessed right, a blue filter sponge. The tide simulat...

Hi Matt,

I'm not sure if it's useful for you, since it's a german forum...
If you have specific questions I can try to translate.

It's a thread about a tide-simulating aquarium with mudskippers:
