I have found the blue string lights that can be purchased at Home Depot work great. They are cheap, last nicely and are water proof and you can cut them to size. Price is around $15 for 9 feet!

You could try Kubotais. They are slightly smaller than Yoyos, less boistous and in my opinion so much more colorful.

I also have rainbows in my 65g and haven't lost any yet, also found them very easy trouble free fish that are non agressvive. Really nice fish.
