Re: My Tank 150ltr

What size are your striata, they look small? I eventually bought some sidthimunki that had the big head/skinny body & all were fine after deworming & good feeding. Yours may be fine after similar treatment...a quarantine tank is always good. Hmm I'd say that they are probably about two inches long,...

Re: Opp's Help:*(

Il be the first to admit I'm no expert, but once a month certainly is not enough. I do a good 50% every week. Don't get me wrong I used to do them every 3 weeks but I paid the price, as did my poor fish. I have come to the conclusion that to have a happy, healthy aquarium it's one hundred percent eff...

Re: My Tank 150ltr

Always quarantine new fish. I would begin treating right away for internal parasites. The Zebras might be skinny from being offered the wrong sorts of food at the store. But, so many Loaches are wild caught, and bring with them a load of parasites. Then the stress of the initial capture and transpo...

Re: My Tank 150ltr

Thankyou starsplitter :) like I said I'm no expert but I'm certainly trying my best for the fish. Everything that I have implemented I have learned from these forums and the main site. It's really been a big help. I see what you are saying about the b.striatas, I will def keep a close eye on them. T...

Re: New Additions - Question

? I have gammarus shrimp breeding in all my tanks. I know my fish snack on them. Sound pretty interesting! Are they a steady self sustaining live food source then? Just done a quick google search but didn't find a lot, except a few comments about them being terribly invasive? If you have some more ...

Re: Arrowana.

Thank you for your reply Martin, I think they look so graceful and beautiful. A friend of a friend of mine has apparently just purchased one and he claims it's growing at an inch a week! I imagine a fair sized tank is required to house such a fish. Is it a species that you have ever considered keepi...
