Beauties!
Some people have no idea what fantastic creatures lie in their own backyards. I wish i could go out and catch darters. I keep some swamp darters and that's only cause they're common stow-aways in ghost shrimp shipments.
I bet they'll spawn for you! And if they do, I've got dibs on fry :lol:

The way you sees him is the way I sees 'im. :D

I thought he looked more like L. berdmorei when looking through the species profiles the night I picked him up. They were calling him "red spotted loach" at the LFS but I know how little that may mean.
Haven't seen him eat with my own two peepers yet ...

Could the darker color of the substrate be causing the fish to darken in color as well?
