I would like to understand more about the substrate, filter and cleaning the water. I assume the filter must be well above the
sand (how much). How do you clean the water without getting the sand, don't you need to clean the sand also.

I have a jerking loach...help
I have 3 loaches. I got them one at a time about a week apart.
Anyway the last one I got is jerking, like jumping sideways and I
can tell he can't control himself. I need to know what this is and
can I help him in some way.
