Re: Plants to keep with my loaches???
I have had luck with Cryptocoryne wendtii. All of my fish seem to like to eat it, and it tends to grow faster than they eat it I don't use any special lighting or CO2.

Marble Hatchet - Carnegiella strigata
I have a question, or more so an observation. I have 3 Marble Hatchets housed with 5 Yasuhikotakia modesta, 5 Ottos and 1 Pleco. I notice that 99.9% of the time the hatchets are at the top of the tank but for some reason I have noticed that one of the hatchets seems to be swimming to mid to lower se...

Re: Fish Stores these days
Some miss information is kind of how I got into Loaches, at one of my LFS in my area I was looking for something to help with my snail epidemic on my 20gal tank when I first got started in fish keeping about 6 years ago. I was told that Clown loaches would eradicate the snail problem. Which they did...

Re: New Blue Loach and Community Tank
Well the are out of their Q tank and seem to like it better than their bland 20G Q tank. I also kept the otto's in there as they would have been a bitch to move. I don't even really know how many I have I bought 5 3 years ago and only really see them once in a while. the like to live in the big plan...

Re: New Blue Loach and Community Tank

Re: New Blue Loach and Community Tank
Thanks for the input, I have had clown Loaches in there that dug, and never really released any gasses, but I do notice a bubble now and then come from the dirt. I guess if it was a real issue I would have dead fish by now. as I have observed the CLs digging around and were fine till they got a bad ...

New Blue Loach and Community Tank
Hello All, I'm new here, well I have read this site a bit but just registered. Anyway my question for your wisdom is I got 5 Blue loaches yesterday and they are in quarantine right now and was wondering how they would do in my 55Gal community tank that currently holds 1 5" Pleco, 3 hatchets, and I t...
