don't get me wrong all the Botia are peaceful just the histrionica appears to be more aggressive but I wasn't sure if it was dominance / place in hierarchy display.
first time keeping Botia , have ...

Botia histrionica aggression ?
I picked up a group of Botia kubotai all juveniles, but one of the 9 is a histrionica.
My LFS will happily take it back as they wont be getting more histrionica in stock plus I don't have the room for another group of loaches .
the histrionica is slightly aggressive to the kubotai, I am guessing ...

botia kubotai compatibility
Thinking of adding 4 x Polkadot loaches to my aquarium, I have the correct parameters etc but not sure on how compatible they are with the current bottom dwellers ?
Currently the tank has 5 x Pepper Cories, 2 x Hoplo Catfish and 1 x Bristlenose plec. The usual array of caves , driftwood etc ...

Dojo with small lump on his back (PIC)
Hi,
I have two Dojo loaches about 5+” in size, both active, feed well and appear healthy
However one has developed a small lump on his upper back (see photo), he still appears well
Tank is mature, Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10ppm, PH 7.5, temp 23c
Any ideas ?
Update - White spots now ...
