Pics from the 700g
Hi, The tank is 300x120x70 cms or 10´x4´x28". 2520 liters (around 700 gallons if I converted properly) In this tanks I have mainly CA/SA cichlids, but also an asian arowana (RTG), a flagtail and a couple of L´s (the loaches are in another tank) Took some pics the other day. I think it would be complicated to keep pimelodus under 20º... Although much smaller (up to 15cms but generally 10-12) have you considered Rosy barbs (Barbus conchonius)?The elongata could eat them... but then again they grow fast and you could try a shoal. Or, if you wnat to go "massive", either a ...

In that big tank, I would add tinfoil barbs (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii).
