Re: Squabbling Zebra

On this site http://www.aquabotanic.com/?tag=burmese-zebra-loach it's says that "As these fish mature their pattern lightens and becomes less distinct. Curiously, in times of aggression these and some other Botias “grey – out” in which the pattern and color washes out – almost completely." Also on t...

Re: Issues with Ich - Please help!

Also i feel like i should add that one of my itsy dojo's has taken a turn for the worse which completely breaks me heart as i've grown perhaps a little to attached to him. He had a pretty bad case of ich the last few days and while everyone else in my tank has cleared up substantially i fear it was ...

Re: A question ?

I've personally never heard of them having to be kept in a hex shaped tank. I have one black kuhli and he spends most of his time hiding and only comes out when the light for me tank is off in search of food and promptly hides again so i'm not to sure about the ground size requirement. Althoug i hav...

Re: Issues with Ich - Please help!

I hate to be the one to say it but you have some stocking issues with that tank. I have a larger tank (30 gal) to transfer them to once they get larger right now they're still tiny. There is no room for any pleco in that tank, especially a common pleco which can grow to nearly two feet. You might h...

Re: Loaches Are Sick... Is It Ick?

Well i can assure you it isn't ich. Unfortunately i've been dealing with issues with ich lately.Ich looks like little white grains of salt attached all over their bodies normally you'll see it on their fins and tails first. (Even though its normally in their gills first before spreading to areas you...

Re: Zodiac (Batik) Loach is mean! Help!

Thank you Monica & Dave for your suggestions.
I returned my Zodiac loach to the store i got him at and explained the situation. They were very understanding of the situation and promised to find him a good home, even gave me store credit ;)

Issues with Ich - Please help!

So i made the mistake of getting a pleco from my local Pet Smart and didn't separate him for a few days.. Like i should have expected he had ich and decided to share it with everyone else in my tank.. (I alerted Pet Smart also since their situation with ich had gone unnoticed and began to spread. I ...

Zodiac (Batik) Loach is mean! Help!

Hello ;) I have a few loaches in my tank 2 Golden Dojo (Weather) Loaches, 1 Black Kuhli Loach, 1 Zodiac (Batik) Loach. At the moment all are pretty small and in a ten gallon tank until the Weather loaches get larger I'll be relocating them to a much larger 55 gallon tank. Also i have 3 neon tetras, ...
