Re: Ceramic Bio Beads Fail?

do you watch the food being eaten? is it all eaten or as atm asked is it getting blown around the tank and ending uneaten either in the tank or trapped in the filter? personally i would reduce my feeding to once a day, give my filtration a good cleaning on water change day, and test the water after ...

Re: WTB Hillstreams

not really in color, i have one that prefers to remain a light grey, and very little visable markings, but they are all grey. i do have one that is the size of a gastromyzon, and it is pretty crazy. again i can;t get a good photo of him by one of my viriosus for comparing, but he is in this video as...

Re: WTB Hillstreams

the best i can get, the orange really doesn't show up well in photos, and they seem to be able to drop the color in the blink of an eye. i am uploading a video from my phone, but it takes a couple hours..... (after posting the color is almost non exsistent in these photos, hopefully the video will s...

Re: hillstream loach setup

haha yeah, to much, i wasn't paying enough attention to the numbers. a rena filstar xp-s would be more than enough, or any other canister filter for about 30-or 40gallon tanks.

Re: Hypergastromyzon

http://i1271.photobucket.com/albums/jj632/FutureChef/IMAG0544_zpsyfzrp1ud.jpg i actually all ready feed across the tank, ( variety of pellet, frozen, and veggies). i wonder if it has something to do with the low numbers i have now....it was never a problem when i had 2 sewellia, and a ton of gastro.

my sewellia has become aggressive with all my hypers and gastros :-( he chases my viriosus when food is in the tank, and my hypers any time. sad day!

Re: Hypergastromyzon

its not really blanched. when i do it, i boil it until you can see the sections (or so its very soft). i have had better luck when i cut it lengthwise than in rounds. when i do cut it in rounds i'll cut a couple in half so they are half moons. my sewellia are usually the first to eat it, but i have ...
