a too terrifyingly large fish for me to keep. so, good luck in keeping them and hopefully breeding them too!

oh and we demand pictures regularly.

its the same over here, most of the shops i have seen with them for sale all have rather skinny looking ones. there are only a few in every batch that look in good condition.

made me chuckle

:o we went up to Enfield yesterday to see if the maidenhead there had the P. ctenocephalatus still. sadly they didnt. went to Wildwoods to see what they had and we cleared them out of some of thier leftovers. walked out with 2 x H. confuzona 1 x Mesonoemacheilus triangularis 1 x other Mesonoemacheil...

oh come off it, you had a pair of B. almorrhae and they were dull. as soon as i saw proper loaches (B. histrionica and B. kubotai) i realised that loaches were awesome.

its is probably a good job you didnt go to work at a sensible-ish hour like the rest of us... otherwise you wouldnt get awesome shots of the kids like this

we have it fully set up now and with some inhabitants

the Maidenhead Aquatics in Enfield had some very nice hillies in for £3.50 each including some very very nice G. ctenocephalus so fingers crossed they are still there in a few weeks when the tank is algaefied

oh and there are going to be a lot more cobbles in there and plants too

that. is. stunning.

They won't go on sale for a couple of weeks yet, so no hurry to make up your minds. :wink: Plus I can't see 160 of them selling that quickly anyway. In the meantime I will spend time observing them and let you know what I see. Emma i think i will pre-empt dave here and ask if you can keep us 5 plea...

i would say more stuff too. more of the tubing and bigger too - if it is 7" i dont think it would fit in what you have there.

are those frontosas you have in there?
