Thanks for the ID. Will have to thank the lad who managed to catch him/her out of a swarm of 30+ other khuli's :)

Is this a leopard khuli ? (Pangio shelfordii)

Picked this tiny chap out today because of his unusual marbled look. Tried to photo without flash but too shakey, then the polka dots started head and tailing :? So its the best i could photo. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d48/bobleeno/SDC11520_zpszzmbjip3.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d...

Re: Clicking

My Modesta's are quite clickly, they certainly do it for territory. Yasuhikotakia eos aka. Sun loach are even more clicky. I had 6 (sadly 3 now) with 5 Skunk loaches and i started to think my other tank sounded like a gigier counter

Re: Help identifying leucistic loach that showed up with kuh

I guess its a juvenile Black khuli. I've just got 5 from pets at home to join my solitary black khuli whose 9 years old. I think he will get on well with the others but probs hide more. I've only seen my black khuli when i feed bloodworms, they adore them :D

I Certainly do enjoy them. I Like on the 2nd picture the clown on the far right has the same spot on his tail as mine. Years of hiding in the same log and waggling his tail i guess :D

Sun Loach - Yasuhikotakia eos

Hi, I recently found some Botia for sale at my LFS and was "wow"ed immediately by them and by how nice they looked. Oooh how looks can be deceiving! Soon as i put them into my main loach tank, i started to notice something wrong. All my fish seemed to be evicted from their usual hidey holes and were...
