Was it your experience that the worm paralysis was temporary, so that reingesting the worms would result in reinfection? Or is this just a concern to make sure they don't have to pass the worm a second time?

Is the fast just so they'll eat the peas?

Should I be worried that the MTSs may be rotting in their shells since the kuhlis can only reach so far into the shell? I pulled out a couple big shells and there seems to be quite a bit of snail left inside. Probably not good for water quality...

Just to explain more fully, the shells are not cracked. Somehow the MTSs are being killed and the shells cleaned out from the opening.
