For me, the 65 instead of the even better 95, space. My fish room is narrow.

Maybe its just my guys, but with the yoyos in the same tank, My straitas were hardly ever seen. My yoyos aren't just big, they're rowdy, and I wouldn't put straitas with them.

I try to do 20%, once a week, sometimes stetches to a week & 1/2, I want the 65 wide. The plants I could have!

I thought the 120 was referring to gallons, and thought it eas probably a little crowded. But I like the concept.

Straita's and kuhlies were my first loaches, Love em both. The straitas aren't as shy as the kuhlies and not nearly as boistrous (or as big) as the yoyos. Mine were very vocal as youngsters, but grew out of it mostly. Which is kind of a shame.

The first of the month would be the soonest. Or you could keep him until you need to get rid of him.

what size tank do you have? I've got 3 clowns right now waiting for me to finish the stand for my 125 gallon. If you can keep him until i get it up and running I'll buy him from you if you're reasonable.

Try tetra-min wafers. frozen brine shrimp &/or mosquito larvae. Mine prefer the larvae. Small chunks of banana. Of course mine eat anything. You might want to treat them for parasites.

Even a "possibly" compatibility chart would be nice. Or even better a enviormentaly compatible chart. I do all right with the can't get along problems, but have trouble sometimes with their needs. i.e. I wouldn't have problems with my clowns and hillstreams firghting, but their temp requirements ren...

Congrats on the successful move. I'm glad to hear i'm not the only one to "find" fish in a move. I was down to <1" of water in my 50 when i found that the horsefaced i thought was long gone, was not only still growing but was still hard to catch.

Thanks, I've been looking for it. Thought the article was in a sticky, but of course when I wanted to go over it again , I couldn't find it. Now that I have, I'm going to put another powerhead in their tank.

Thats in the works, but I thought I was remembering that the hillstreams really prefer cooler water. Are there any other loaches that would work with them? Right now I have them in a 50 g with the waltonis, kuhlies, straitas, and 2 powerheads. Is a 29 long better suited to the hillstream setup?
