Unfortunatley
Sherry, getting them out of a heavily planted tank may pose a problem, as you've seen. Do they overstock the tank, or are they too troublesome for the current inhabitants? My first suggestion would be to give them a few days to settle and see what happens. If you don't like them, then getting them o...

Personally
Jeremy, I share everything. Most others here do also. The main issue is the fish, not my pats on the back.
Got anything good to share?

Do you know what I hate? When you go to a forum site and they won't even let you READ the information without registering  I don't feel like lending my presence to sites that won't even let me browse to see if they are worth my time! I have precious little enough of it as it is! :...

I haven't kept clowns that long, maybe three years, but none of mine in a 55g have gotten to 10-12 inches in the three years I've had them.

Hi Kelly
it does sound like bacterial fin rot. Possibly flexibacter, but the treatment would be the same. Broad spectrum antibiotics, which will affect your current bio filter  Maracyn I and II as Barbara suggested is a good choice. Depending on availability you could read labels looking for a similar p...

Hey KBick
welcome to the forum, and yes, it does sound like fin rot. What is your water quality like? Do you do regular water changes? What are your water parameters, like pH, hardness, nitrItes, or nitrAtes, any ammonia present? How long has the tank been set up and what other inhabitants, are there? Fin rot...

I am kinda missing the old forum... Yes, this is 'better', but I found it easier to see and respond to individual posts in the old format, instead of replying to a whole thread... It will get easier, I'm sure, and I am used to this type of forum anyway, but I also liked the old way... Nostalgi...
