What temp was your tank at before you noticed the spots? Lower temps slow the life cycle...and it usually infests the gills before you ever see any spots.

I haven't tried it myself, but if I remember right someone has used it successfully here...just can't remember who... :oops: Here is a link to a place in the US you can order powdered levamisole, but from what I know it's best to treat with both a broad spectrum antibiotic as well as the levamisole....

there is a color difference between clown loaches from Borneo and those from Sumatra, but at the moment I can't seem to locate the article on the old forum to link you to, sorry. :oops: Younger clowns are often brightly colored and it is true that as they age and grow larger some develop white lines...

As for the greying out you see in the larger fish, that means that he/she is declaring dominance, or planning to fight for it. The brighter colored one is the one being submissive, not the other way around. When you see two clowns struggling for dominance they will often both grey out and the loser ...
