I am certain your snakeheads will die.

Do not feed these fish to your snakeheads. Find a local fish store to bring them to, I am sure they will take them off your hands and might even pay you for them.

Sorry Tina, but I don't think you're going to find anyone here recommending you to use any kind of loaches as feeders. You might find yourself a snakehead forum and ask there.

You really are like a kid waiting for Christmas, Andre. I used to help my kids know how much longer it would be before a big exciting day, in 'wake-ups'...so it would be 3 more wake-ups for me.

I am soooo jealous. You'll all have a fantastic time!

You might check out spanner barbs (aka t-barbs). They are good middle-top swimmers and grow to be about 5-7 ". Also, they aren't easily bullied.

Sounds like a nice tank, Jade! My only experience with plecos and clowns is with a common plec, he's been with them since he was an inch-long baby and is now about 9". He shares the food, doesn't quarrel, gets along fine. Others may disagree, but I'd be careful with the angels. They are territorial ...

I'll have to try the red leaf lettuce, but I would put that on a spoon also. I have a fat, large Pleco in my loach tank that likes to hurl himself on whatever food gets dropped in- I'd be terrified that he'd skewer himself!

Hi Abigael, My clowns enjoy frozen shrimp that have been blanched for a minute in boiling water, then chopped up and thrown in for them...also cantaloupe, honeydew melon, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash (all of those should be skinned and blanched for a min to kill any bacteria and soften it up j...

   Pardon my stare there, Rayburn, but your tank is stunning!!! Welcome to LOL! Beautiful fish and your pics are jaw-dropping. I agree with Helen, that shot of the shimmery skunk is really something. I have very mixed feelings about my 'punk loaches' right now, but it's hard to ...

Hey Munkee, sorry your horsey is under the weather:( I just wanted to second Diana's suggestion not to medicate your whole tank unnecessarily- I've made that decision myself in the past when my q-tank was otherwise occupied, and managed to mess up my bio filters to the point that it took weeks to re...

Hi AS, and welcome to LOL :D It sounds like you are doing everything possible for your new addition. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for him! Hopefully, you'll not need to worry about it, but if it should become necessary, there is an excellent article by Emma Turner, right here on the forum...

That looks fantastic!

I'd like to try it with pork, also. With a little bok choy added for color. I am constantly fiddling with recipes...

Maybe some toasted sesame seed also...?

We use a LOT of ginger in my house, but never quite equal parts meat to ginger...I'm excited to try it!

My money's on the skunks in that fight, but yes, you'd definitely set up a lose/lose and VERY stressful situation there.

No questions are stupid, BTW
