Re: My new tank

Thanks everyone. I disappeared for a while as I had to rehome my clowns and sell my old 2m Rena tank for a number of reasons :-( I kept my Modesta & YoYo's in an old 4' tank whilst I kept my eye's open for another large tank, after several months I found this 7 footer on the cheap and had planned to...

Re: My new tank

He's huge. How old do you think he is? Do you have a name for him? You probably have the largest clown loach on this forum. He is a big boy, he's called Ben and I got him from someone who sadly had to rehome their clowns, the person that kept him before them had him for 12 years so he must be aroun...

Re: My new tank

Hi all, My Clowns are really very settled in their new home, so much so that they will happily play out together in the day. The only time they get spooked is when I clean the glass or one of my kids slams the door right next to the tank. Here are some photo's of my (not so) little group: - http://i...

My new tank

Hi all,
I haven't been on here for a while but I have set up a new tank and just had to share a photo of it, it is 7' x 2.5' x 2' and home to ~30 clowns of different sizes.

Re: Tame hand feed Clown loach

Hi, my oldest clown would feed from my hand everyday. A few of the smaller ones would do this too but were not as brave as old "Yarp". I had to rehome my shoal last year but they are all still together and in an even larger group in an 8 footer now so it's all good. Some snaps: - http://i463.photobu...

Interesting, I have heard that they can be a bit feisty. I have kept mine with many different species over the years without any problems, he is now 5" and happily shares a 4' tank with 12 yoyos.

You have a great looking set up Edson, nice fish too. I see you have an Eheim Pro 3, please tell me how do you disconect the three pipes from the top? When I clean mine out I remove the entire lid and leave it dangling there in the cabinet :-) I picked it up second hand for free but I didn't get any...
