Re: What to do with a tank?

So which will it be? Maybe H. Orthogoniata would fit such a long low tank? Looking at the yoyos here, the height is insufficient.

Re: look what i found!

She still doesnt trust me though. While she does make eyecontact and stays where she is, she does get r...

Re: I bought clown loach Number 7

I would set the heater back to 27. They have a working range, and water cools gradually. In the morning its probably still 28. Shrimps shouldnt be sitting still in a corner all day, nor should corys. They all come from areas with lots of sudden cooling rain. 0,5 'c cooling a day might be taking to l...

Re: look what i found!

Hahahahahaha. Tricked twice. And your new one WILL (already does) do al that too. Good story though. Are they still murdering baby fish? See the potential? Same thing happend to me with the denisoni barbs. Small firetetras, pondsnails and cherryshrimp cycled the then new tank. Must have be...

Re: I bought clown loach Number 7

all depends on ambient temperature and water volume. just lowering 2'c a day must be fine. temp won't drop right away. last june, we were on holiday in Bali, Indonesia, just 500km from Borneo. HOT all the time. but one day, very unsually, a morning of rain. sun came back, hot air again, went swimmin...

Re: look what i found!

To be honest, I hadn't bought a new fish in ages, so I wasn't worried about diseases, and thus, I wasn't "trying to notice" things. These days, that I've been looking for things, I started "seeing" things  :D why do you think i am making a point out of all this?  I can't find much ...

Re: look what i found!

sorry, low batterie, so quickly posted. different computer now. i wanted to say: a topic showing the difference between loachy behavioural flashing, and itchy flashing, would probably be helpful. preventing unnessasary treatment to healthy fish, and giving helpful visual material to compare to for w...
