I see Puntius fasciatus at the LFS ,about 20 or so..... :?: I am thinking of removing my Albino Tin Foils that are BIG and replacing them with these. These get red in the tail slightly also right ? They look great, I very much like the bright red on the lower fins. That is my favorite variation. Great Job on the long term care so far.....You removed the gravel and went to sand then?

Sadly, the dyed Y. modestas are still doing the rounds (WHY? ) so a dyed specimen is possible.

Large group them .They get mean when older and comfortable in their tank. Re decoration helps. I would think they might do good with Syncrossus helodes and was thinking of adding some myself but they are the devil.....

If you use a fan you must not just top off the tank , evaporation leads to hard water issues. You must remove water by cup or bucket also dilligently as well as topping. Replace in the tank power heads with HOB's and set your AC to 68F :wink: ....
