i find my striata well behaved and certainly very cute. they can be a bit on the shy side, although saying that, my largest one is boss of the tank, so that can also be quite bold, but not normaly nasty. you will have fun withthem. they dont seem to have the reputation that the clowns do of ripping ...

calm down there! thats quite a dramtic change in pH. yes, loaches do really need slightly acidic water rather than too alkaline water, but because pH is a logarythmic scale, pH 8 to pH 6 is a huge difference, and that can shock the fish. chemicals can often lead to instability in the pH of the tank,...
