The tank is currently at 77 BUT it was a lot higher for a while, due to ick/velvet (possible) infection....
That is good info, if they DID die off, then I'm pretty sure the snails and loaches would dispose of them pretty completely.

Devilish Danios
I am pretty sure they haven't "escaped" the tank proper....the hood is on all the time. I checked in the filter, I don't know how it works or anything, but I did look into the filter area for any possible escapees...nada.. I don't *love* the danios, but I am concerned about adding any other fish to ...

Dissapearing Danios
Hi we have been losing our danios. 55 Gallon with 8 danios, 1 bn Pleco, and two small (4") golden dojo's.
We're down to FIVE danios, lol. No bones, fishy heads, nothing, as far as evidence.
What the heck?

Sidhartha's Story
He was a lovely, happy, nest blowing boy until I moved him...the danios would obviously be the go to thought, though, I know...but the same thing happened to two other betta's when they were alone in the tank :((. We're treating the tank for ich, velvet & fin rot. Just in case. I mean, sid's gone an...

fish disease
He was a multicolored betta; blues, reds, and purples. That spot/patch only showed up at the end of the 3 day decline of Sid's health; his fin (bottom) was eaten away the day prior, then this showed up on his body....I cannot find anything online about advanced stages of Fin Rot, or velvet.....I've ...

ich facts
Hi again, Well that makes a bit more sense. I really appreciate the explanations, I just got so much good info from you guys. The two remaining loaches seem fine now. I do NOT see any spots on tails, but that could be because they're so deviously fast and slippery....I"m going to check again a coupl...

Hi there, They've left him alone the whole time....3 days ago I put him in the 55 Gallon, then I moved him back yesterday after I saw that he was extremely lethargic. While moving him i saw the mark on him...and today, when I put him down, I saw that the fins are 3/4 .....just....gone. Like shredded...
