You already know the answer to your question. A 30 gallon tank is just too small for clown loaches. Schistura mahnerti - red tail loach
I noticed today that I have a red tail loach that is looking funny. Not Ha Ha funning, but odd funning. Don't think that it is egg bound, but not sure what it could be. I have had them about two years. Anyone have any ideas?

My six Homaloptera confuzona (Lizard Loach) arrived Friday evening along with six Sinibotia pulchra (12-banded Chinese Loach). Could not get a good picture of the confuzona. They are all eating and seem to be adjusting fine to their new home.
