Hi, I my self have not seen my Pangos eat snails in person. But I know I have had 2 tanks overly stocked with pond snails and two days after the Pangos where add there where no snails left. So that leaves me wondering. And the same with the Botia histrionica. Mine 4 also cleaned out a 50 gallon of s...

Hi,
Mine are all around 3-4 inches long. I have had them over 9 months. Had lots of trouble with them.

They are very turf orientated, but hey never go to far from each-other. Odd odd odd.

I have a 30in x 12in x 12in, tank I can use. I also have a spare filter running in my Quarantine tank. So I will get the filter of it, and empty the tank into this new one because the quarantine tank is only a 5 gallon. So that will help with the Cycle. All I need now is some help with the catching ...

RIGHT, waiting for the water test to come out. I am using liquid tests. There are three Zippers. The tank temp has some how gone up from 26'c to 29 'c. Could that be why? I don't think so they killed 7 Kulie Loaches in a 50 gallon tank with the temp at 27'c. Yes I have seen them do it. The just fly ...

Zipper Laoch trouble. Urgent!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all, I have some big news to tell you all. My Zipper Loaches just killed a Bristle Nose. They also killed 4 Harlequin Rasboras. Damaged 4 Red-Line rasboras. Chase SAE's to no end. I don't know what is up. They have just turned to killers. They have also chased my aggressive Dwarf neon Rainbows. S...

I would cut down the SAE to just one fish, and then only if you need an algae eater. I like Rainbows a lot more than SAEs. My Rainbows race from one end of the tank to the other. (4' long tank) 2 species of mid-tank schooling fish is enough, when the fish are this size. A lot of people who have SAE...

Soul-Hugger Thanks. But the temp will be 27'c. Just a bit to high I think for the Weather Loach. But you are right, I will fond something I like after some time. But I can keep pretty much what ever type of Loach I like so that makes it hard. 100 gallons is a nice tank, but a pain to stock right. mack

Hi, I am not to positive about the size of school of Botia histrionica. As for Rasboras, I don't know yet. I may look at Scissor Tails. But that would mean I would have 4 schools of fish in the mid water level. So I think I will just have 5x Iran Red Rainbows, and 15x Lake Kutubus, 7x Siamese Algae ...
