hi yes this iritates me a bit about these lines... but the orange reflection wich is not visible on these pics ...must be the difference... what also iritates me is the main colour of the fish...it is more greyish than golden like the lineoatas usually are... i will see soon as they are well acclima...

hello there,
i wonder how much degrees Celsuis a ocellatus can take with enough oxygen?? what are your max temperatures keeping gastromyzons?

i guess i might have about 26-27 degrees at the moment as it is really hot...they all do fine while sewellias spawn 8)

hoi charles :wink: hi folks as i have the same two spezies ...i am stil not sure about the lower one...is it really S. fasciatus?? the "fasciatus ones" behave really harsh against other fishes of the sams spezies...even while feeding they are quite rough to eachother... but beautiful! regards farid

hi BS :) can you do me a favour next time you have a chance...to pick up some stones to check what creatures live around and on the stones?? what consistence is the ground made of ? sand gravel or mud?? how are the stones if you touch them...filthy, clean, dusty? these infos would be great... regard...

a short update 8)
i got again over 50 babies...most of them already 13mm big. their growth is much faster than the first fry i had 18months ago...i think it was because of the food. i nourish them no 2-3 times a day with powdered tabs...

hi guys, as charles said...i also think it's not all about the water parameters...breeding them. i rather think it has to do with the water quality like rising conducticity between the water changes, the germ density must be another thing that might be important... i would love to have a freshwater ...

thanks emma & Janne now as i got the camera set up i will try to make more of this style bit by bit...there are quite a few new babies around (after waiting over 16 months!?? ) i think the top view is also interesting than always from the side :) the drop version is cool so the fish can't go anywher...
